DARNA Visnjevac [Cherry Liqueur]

Višnjevac is a bright and fruity cherry liqueur made from the Marasca cherry, a variety famous along the Croatian Adriatic coast. Darna creates this liqueur by macerating ripe cherries in spirits, allowing the fruit's natural juices to infuse the liquid with a deep ruby red color and a distinctively tart-yet-sweet flavor. Unlike artificial cherry liqueurs which can taste medicinal, Darna’s Višnjevac retains the authentic acidity and almond-like undertones of the cherry pit. It is a refreshing summer sipper when served over ice and is frequently used to soak sponge cakes or drizzle over fresh fruit salads.
